The unusual center hinge is extremely solid compared to most other brands, and the cuff construction is overall great S&W quality. The side-mounted double lock is different, but works well. Fit runs somewhat small, making them a very secure choice for women to average-size men, but really large guys may not fit into them well. Fits standard keys; other cuffs are available with tumbler locks, or these can be worn with a keyhole-covering lockbox and waist chain when added security is desirable.
