Maxpedition Proteus Versipack Review

I've had my Proteus for a few weeks now and am very pleased with it.It's built with the kind of quality you would expect from Maxpedition, leaving no room for improvement. The so called cell phone pouches on either end hold a lot more than the typical cell phone.I'm a ham radio operator and either of those end pouches will stow my hand held radio or a radio/police scanner, both being huge compared to the size of any cell phone. The two pen holder loops on either side of the front pouch are a very nice added touch. This is the first waist pack I've owned, even though many think fanny packs are a social faux pas, the Prouteus looks rather cool.If you want it to be comfortable to wear I would keep it's load under 4 pounds.Mine was shipped from eBags and shipping was prompt.I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the appearance or build quality of this bag.If the size is right for you and what you want to carry, you will dig this bag.
