Buck BuckLite Max Folding Knife Review

Bought two of these for the boys last Christmas. They both love them and I can see why.The blades are just the right curve, the point drops a little, but it still has a semi full belly for slicing with the tip.The handles are thin, but rounded for a good grip. The polymer material is very light weight.I picked it because it was a lock back, not a liner lock that is all the rage these days.As hoped, it locks positively and releases easily. It has a thumb stud for quick opening, but it doesn't work for me, it's too close to the hinge, the spring is too strong and the handles are too thin, at least for me.It doesn't really matter because it opens the way I open all my knives, pinch the blade about mid point, push out and swing open with the thumb. As with all Bucks it takes and holds an edge well if you know how to sharpen them (Lansky diamond kit, 22 degree holes)
