(More customer reviews)Well I guess it's official....I'm a Knife Knut.Oh well, nothing better than functional art and this certainly fits the bill.What a knife, and the price is ridiculous.Knives must be a lot cheaper to make than I thought or Kershaw must have penny profit margins.

Some knife aficionados knock assisted opening knives as just something else to break but man are they fun, and if a hobby isn't fun I'm not gonna do it anyway.When I first sighted Kershaw I thought the Blur was the knife to get but after handling a Leek I changed my mind.Well, I love my Leek but if I had gotten my Blur first I might have never experienced another Kershaw.This knife is a beast and I love it.

Let me preface this with the fact that I like large folders.Small folders are fine for EDC but there is something about a beast of a folder that I really enjoy.This knife is a beast.The blade isn't too long; 3.25 inches by my measurements but it is THICK.This blade is certainly robust enough to serve in heavy duty situations and I would have no problem throwing about anything at this blade.Sure the Speed Safe might break but it still works as a folder.

Next, the CPM-154 steel is awesome.In some ways better than the S30V that Kershaw puts out.It is easier to sharpen and holds almost as good of an edge.The factory edge on this thing is surgical.One of my sharpest knives ever out of the box.

Finally the price is ridiculously low.Easily worth well over $100(I would put it in the comparable $150 range)for materials, fit and finish.If you happen on this gem you won't regret it; push the "Add to Cart".
