The clip is a flexible plastic, I would have liked it to be more rigid although the fallibility does make it easier to remove and less likely to brake. you must ware a sturdy belt when warring this holster as with any other. The gun this was made for has a 4 1/2" barrel because of this I could not sit comfortably at the small of my back with this on and my gun in place, I would place it closer to my hip. When siting I had to keep adjusting it to get comfortable. If you are standing all day this is very comfortable.
