(More customer reviews)I purchased this holster for a single purpose - practice with my new airsoft SIG P-226. My real SIG does not have the light rail, and so my existing holsters do not work with the airsoft. Using the airsoft will allow me to practice with basically the same gun I often carry, but with far less expense and noise. Anyhow, I chose this holster because it does fit both the airsoft and the real SIG pistols. As a bonus, it also fits my S&W 4513TSW.

Pro's: Fits both SIG pistols perfectly, allowing a fast draw and an easy reholster. The retention characteristic seems just right for these guns. It places the gun slightly away from the body, meaning faster draws for IPSC or IDPA competition. It will never wear out. It can be cleaned with a simple wipe down.

Con's: A little tight on the S&W pistol, which has to be pushed down rather forcefully. This may just need a little use to wear it in to the gun. A con for me, but maybe not you, is that the gun is held away from the body a little. (Yes, that was a plus, also). I normally use an inside-the-waistband holster, which holds the pistol tightly against my body for better concealment. If I wear this one around the house, I know I'll be banging the gun against walls, furniture and door frames. Again, a con for me but maybe not for you. Another possible con is that it is designed for a wide belt, 1-1/2 to 1-5/8 inch. On a slimmer belt it may rock or slide a little.

Overall, I think it is a fine holster for practice and competition and a reasonable choice for concealed carry if you are wearing the proper clothing to cover it.
