(More customer reviews)I actually do not own this product, but a very similar one I can not locate on Amazon.I think they are close enough that I can do some good here by explaining the differences and what I like about this design.
What I own is a Condor Tactical Drop Leg Holster in Universal Camouflage Pattern.I should have gotten the MultiCam one but I didn't.Either way, it is a great holster.
The differences I can tell from the pictures and the previous reviewer, is that the Tornado holster has an extra strap to secure the pistol (one hook and loop and one snap or thumb break) while the regular drop leg uses just the thumb break and the Tornado holster uses hook and loop to strap onto the tactical belt where the regular drop leg uses a strap that loops over the belt and snaps to itself. There may be some other slight differences but that is pretty much it.
What I love about these is the durable construction and how snugly everything fits while still being completely adjustable.Furthermore, these will hold large framed guns.My previous holster was a disaster because I shoot an H&K USP .45.I had to force it into the holster which shoved the slide back 1/8 of an inch.No such problem with the Condor Tactical holsters.Even with a laser on, it fits perfectly. The strap that holds the pistol in place requires a strong, flat piece of metal (I suppose other things could work but I used a piece of flat metal) to seperate the hook and loop to move the strap up or down. But it holds secure when you are done. And the extra mag pouch is big enough to hold a double stacked .45 ACP mag, so that is outstanding.
This holster will ride around a bit on your leg.It takes a bit to get it adjusted properly and it will try to pull your pants down. There's not much you can do about that and I doubt any other leg holster will be better in that regard. The fact is, it pulls on your pants.Wear a belt and tighten it up.And you will sweat along the straps but that's life. Those are really the only "problems" I had with the holster and those can hardly be used against it.
If you are looking for a leg holster, I don't think you could possibly do any better for your money than either the Condor Tactical or Condor Tornado Tactical holsters.
