(More customer reviews)Very natural retention release, but you do have to practice. After one week it is still high and tight against the body. I carry an XD sub compact, so the muzzle doesn't extend past the nylon, which is a plus. I have a crappy belt, so a good belt will only make it better. Seems that a 1.5 inch belt will be the largest size before you have to go with only one snap. This holster is comfortable because it is very easy to adjust by sliding it along your belt.
